Casa Chiana is home to a local family. It is still used by the
family, which has roots in Florence and now New York as well.
Though the outsider can hardly tell, the house was rebuilt in
the 1970's, in keeping with the spirit of the original
dwelling. The old house was partially destroyed during a
German Army reprisal against civilians in the last year of
World War II.
